Consulting engineering firms
Capabilities, people and projects, presented the way clients evaluate firms
What matters
What your website should do for you
Capabilities by discipline and sector
Structural, mechanical, civil or environmental work, and the sectors you serve, should be easy to scan.
People with verifiable credentials
Professional designations and experience of key staff matter in proposals. Profiles should be accurate and current.
Project summaries you can publish
Many projects are confidential. Public summaries should include only what clients have agreed to share.

A fictional example
Moving from an old site
Before
A 25-person firm's project portfolio is a PDF from 2022 because the website's project section was too difficult to update.
The move
We rebuild on Replit with structured project and staff sections, import approved summaries from the PDF, and redirect the old portfolio address.
After
The marketing coordinator adds projects and profiles through Replit Agent; larger campaigns can be handed to us.
What we will ask you for

- Project summaries with client approval for publication
- Staff profiles and designations
- Office locations and careers information
Works with tools you already use

- LinkedIn company page links
- Secure document sharing for proposals
Questions
Common questions
Can we show confidential projects?
Only with client approval. Anonymised summaries, such as "200-unit residential building, Calgary", are often acceptable but check your agreements first.
Who should update the website?
Usually a marketing coordinator or office manager, through Replit Agent. Firms without one can send updates to us under a management agreement.
How is this different from the expert witness page?
Engineering firm sites sell team capability for projects. Expert witness sites present one individual's expertise for litigation and referral enquiries.
