Shopify (blog and content pages) to Replit

Keep selling on Shopify. Give your content a better home.

Shopify handles checkout, products and orders well, so most owners keep the store there. This page is about the blog and public information pages: guides, recipes, about pages and location pages that are hard to shape within a store theme. We rebuild that content on Replit, link it to your store, and leave checkout, products and orders on Shopify.

Why owners consider it

Situations we hear about

Store themes are built for products

Blog and page templates in store themes are often basic. Content-heavy sites need richer layouts, such as guides or resource libraries.

Content needs its own structure

Recipes, guides or research pages benefit from structure and filters that store blogs do not provide.

Changes compete with store work

Theme changes for content can affect the store. Keeping content separate lets each change safely.

What we rebuild

  • Blog posts and content pages you want to keep
  • Images you own or are licensed to reuse
  • Navigation that links clearly to your store
  • Page titles, descriptions and important addresses, with redirects where they change

What we handle by hand

  • Which domain or subdomain the content will live on
  • Product links and embeds within posts
  • Blog comments and their moderation
  • Apps that add content features to the theme
  • Analytics and tracking across content and store

Exporting content and asset rights

Shopify's guide to duplicating a store uses CSV files for products, customers and similar data, and suggests copying blog posts and online store pages by hand.[1]

Blog articles are available through Shopify's Admin API, so with your permission we retrieve them through an app with read access, or collect them from the published pages.[2]

Here the store, products, checkout and orders stay on Shopify, and only the content moves.

Addresses, redirects and integrations

  • We agree where the content will live, for example on your main domain with the store on a subdomain, or the reverse. This decision affects redirects and should be settled before quoting.
  • Shopify blog addresses include the blog name (for example /blogs/news/post-name). Where those addresses move, we set up redirects from the old paths, using Shopify's URL redirects if the store keeps the domain.
  • Product links in posts are checked and kept pointing to the right products.
  • After launch we check redirects and submit the new sitemap. This protects the signals your existing posts have earned.

Design rebuild or data migration?

This is a content rebuild. Blog posts and pages are carried across and shown in a new design; the store and its data stay on Shopify. Large blogs with hundreds of posts are imported by script, which we assess before quoting.

After the move

Editing in plain language

Request 01

“Publish this new brewing guide with these photos, and link the two grinders mentioned to their product pages in the store.”
Replit Agent creates the guide with product links. You check it in the preview and publish.

Request 02

“Add a "Recipes" filter to the guides page so readers can see only recipes.”
The filter is added. You check it and publish.

Industries that often move from Shopify (blog and content pages)

Do I have to leave Shopify?

No. The store stays on Shopify and only the blog and information pages move.

Can you move my whole store?

Yes, if that is what you want. A full store can be rebuilt on Replit with a payment provider such as Stripe. We scope and quote it separately.

Will my search rankings survive the move?

We protect your search standing by keeping important addresses, redirecting those that change, carrying over titles and descriptions, and checking the site after launch.
