Webflow to Replit
Design-grade sites without needing a designer for every change
Why owners consider it
Situations we hear about
The Designer is a skill of its own
Classes, combo classes and interactions are powerful but take practice. Teams without that skill often wait for a designer.
Plan and seat costs add up
Site plans, workspace seats and CMS item limits grow with the site, and so does the bill.
Custom logic sits outside
Calculators, portals and integrations often need external tools or embeds. On Replit they can be part of the site.
What we rebuild
- Static pages and CMS-driven pages, recreated in the new design
- CMS collections such as blog posts, team members or case studies
- Images and documents you own or are licensed to reuse
- Forms, rebuilt for the new site
- Page titles, descriptions and important addresses, with redirects where they change
What we handle by hand
- Interactions and animations
- Ecommerce collections and checkout
- User accounts and gated content
- Localization and multilingual content
- Third-party embeds, scripts and Logic flows
- Form submissions stored in Webflow
Exporting content and asset rights
On paid Workspace plans, Webflow can export a site's HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets. Webflow notes that CMS, user account and ecommerce content is not included in exported code, and that forms and site search do not work on exported sites.[1]
CMS Collections can be exported as CSV files from the Collections panel, which gives us structured content such as blog posts and team members.[2]
We use the exported code as a reference for the design and the CSV files for content. The new site is built fresh on Replit rather than running the exported code as it is.
Addresses, redirects and integrations
- We list the current page addresses, including blog posts and any collection or category pages, before quoting.
- Webflow collection pages use a collection path and slug. We can usually keep the same addresses.
- Where an address must change, we set up a permanent redirect from the old address once the domain points to the new site.
- We check forms, booking widgets, maps, analytics and newsletter sign-ups, and agree which are rebuilt, replaced with an established external service, or retired.
- After launch we check the redirects and submit the new sitemap. This protects the signals your existing pages have earned.
Design rebuild or data migration?
A design rebuild recreates the look, structure and content of your public pages on a new codebase. A direct data migration moves structured records, such as hundreds of blog posts or collection items, through a scripted import. Most small sites need a design rebuild with a manageable amount of content carried across. Large content libraries get a technical assessment first, so the quote is accurate.
After the move
Editing in plain language
Request 01
“Add a case study for Northline Logistics using the attached document, and feature it first on the case studies page.”
Request 02
“Slow down the fade-in on the home page hero, and turn it off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.”
Industries that often move from Webflow
Can you run my exported Webflow code on Replit as it is?
We rebuild it as a clean codebase instead, because exported Webflow code is not structured for ongoing editing. That keeps every change through Replit Agent tidy.
Will my interactions survive?
We recreate the ones that matter, and keep them respectful of visitors who prefer reduced motion.
Will my search rankings survive the move?
We protect your search standing by keeping important addresses, redirecting those that change, carrying over titles and descriptions, and checking the site after launch.
Can I keep my domain and email?
Yes. The domain stays registered to you. We point the website to the new host and leave email records alone unless you ask us to change them. If the domain is registered through your current builder, you can keep it there or transfer it; we explain both.
